Playful Pines Rules for Safe Play

1. Store all personal bags, loose jackets, and shoes safely in the storage lockers. Playful Pines is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.

 

2. Shoes are not allowed beyond the check-in desk. All adults and children must wear clean socks. All playing participants will need socks with grips. Socks are available for purchase.

3. All participants will need to sanitize or wash their hands before initial entry into the play space.

​

4. No food or drinks are to be consumed on or near the play spaces, including sweets, teething treats, or chewing gum.

​

5. Only children 8 years of age or younger are allowed to play on the play structures.

 

6. All participants must use all toys, structures, and furniture for their intended purposes.

​

7. Playful Pines is a safe place and holds a ZERO tolerance policy for aggressive or hurtful behaviors (ie. physical aggression, name-calling, inappropriate language, etc.). Any child or adult exhibiting these behaviors, as determined by Playful Pines staff, will be asked to leave and will not be entitled to a refund.

8. Parents/guardians are responsible for their children's safety and behavior. Guardians must remain inside the building and monitoring at all times. There may not be more than 4 children per guardian.

9. Any child or adult showing symptoms of illness or injury will not be allowed to participate in play sessions or classes. The play session or class may be rescheduled at no additional charge but no refund will be issued.

Health Risk & Assessment 

​

1. Any participant with current or previous injuries that put them at risk of falls or harm during play sessions or classes should not participate.

​

2. Any participant, child or adult, will not be allowed to participate in play sessions or events if they have tested positive for, or shown symptoms of, any illness within the last 24 hours (examples: fever, excessive coughing, diarrhea, vomiting, COVID-19, flu, hand foot and mouth, RSV, chicken pox, strep, etc.).
