Baby Besties

Newborn-6-month meet up

Join a fresh meet-up designed for moms and their newborns. Starting promptly at 8:30 in the front area on our tummy time blanket, connect with new moms and find your new baby bestie. Got an older sibling? They can enjoy our indoor playground while you mingle

Baby Besties is free for moms. No registration required!

*Older siblings attending will need a pre-registered play pass. Sign up for our usual online open play section. 

 

Sit & Stitch 

Moms create while kids play every Thursday at 2:00
Calling all fabric lovers, embroiderers, crocheters, and knitters (and their little ones, too)!

While the kids play, moms can stitch, chat, and create. It’s a relaxed space to connect, craft, and unwind.

Never tried before? No worries! Beginner crochet kits will be available for purchase, and a friendly helper will be on hand to show you the basics.

Come learn a new hobby, bring your current project, or just hang out with other fiber-loving moms while the kids have fun!

 

Dance & Play 

Dance and Movement Play with Mrs. Corrie

Corrie will teach a mixed-age beginner dance class designed to develop strength and coordination - exploring some of the fun ways their little bodies can move! No experience or special outfits required. Class is included in Open Play. Sign up online. Class will begin right at 11:00, followed by 90 minutes of play!

 

Corrie comes to us from Stars Dance Academy. SDA is excited to kick off our 23rd season of offering dance classes for students ages 18 months–18 years! Stars values itself as a place where dancers not only learn new skills, but also build lasting friendships. Our passion is creating a fun, welcoming environment where every student can discover the joy of movement. With small class sizes, we make sure each dancer gets the personal attention they deserve!

 

Talking Tadpoles

Speech Play Therapy 

Join us for our toddler play group, Talking Tadpoles, at Playful Pines Indoor Play Park! Parents and their little ones will engage in fun, play-based activities led by a speech-language pathologist. Activities will focus on embedding language development strategies into everyday routines and play! Sign up your Tad Pole in Events & Classes at 4:00. Your sign-up includes the 30-minute class and 90 minutes of play in the playground.

 

Super Mom Strength

Toddler tag-a-long Workout Class

Super Mom Strength with Kyliea is a 40-minute bodyweight & resistance band class designed for ALL fitness levels!  With a focus on sculpting strong legs & glutes, plus upper body & core work, this class will leave you feeling empowered and energized. Perfect for busy moms in Omaha!  To sign up for this class, register your tag-alongs under Events & Classes. Children $15, and moms pay $5 at the door for the class. 

 

Picasso at the Pines

Art discovery & craft class

Join us for a fun-filled day of art and play! This class is adaptable for 1-6-year-olds! This 30-minute art lesson will inspire your creativity, followed by 90 minutes of playtime at our indoor park. This month's class will focus on weather! Join us to make rain sticks and paint rainbows. All projects will be taken home at the end of the class. Class begins promptly at 11:00. Class is included in the play session fee! Sign up online in Open Play guarantee your materials and spot. 

 

Kindermusik

Music with Mrs. Becky

Music isn’t just fun—it helps little ones grow! Singing, moving, and playing instruments together supports early brain development, build language skills, sparks creativity, and strengthens social connections. Best of all, it gives children a joyful way to express themselves.

Join us for a 30-minute music lesson filled with rhythm, movement, and song, followed by 90 minutes of open playtime in our indoor play park. It’s the perfect blend of learning and fun!
